12 July 2009~ Mini Movie Outing

Lol, added in e mini coz so few of us went for e movie outing. Erm, to be exact only 4 of us went; me, ben, jas n yc. We met up around 3 plus at the arcade at dhoby ghaut mrt station. YC n ben met up first n went arcade n i met up with jas b4 we went to meet e guys. E movie was at 5 so we walked around first buying snacks n drinks lolx. Walked all e way over to Plaza Sing then we went to Breadtalk whr there was an offer of 10 buns for just $10. Lol, was funny watching jas, ben n YC grabbing up 10 buns =p. (in e end they didn't finish e buns n had to bring some home xD). After tt we went to carrefour n bought a bag of chips n some bottles of drinks. (somehow we were gonna smuggle all tt food n drinks into e theater lol).
Then we went up to e arcade for a short while whr jas managed to catch a chipmunk (?) soft toy lolx. Quite a gd deal, $2 for tt cute stuffed toy =p. Then YC went to buy his fries n popcorn chicken from Macdonalds n KFC while i followed ben n jas to the Singapore Pool. Ben n jas quite de heng tt day, they won $25 from tt erm, scratch card (?). Well, it was reaching 5 by then so we walked back to cathay to catch e movie. jas wanted to watch a horror movie called 'The Haunting in Conneticut'. I'm not a person who watches horror movie so let's just say i was quite fidgety during e movie but hey, i didn't scream or jump or anything =x. But it was obvious tt I wld rather not be watching e movie (u can ask YC ben n jas lol =x). Anyways, there was a glitch in the beginning coz the wrong movie was being shown in e beginning. Instead of showing the horror movie, they showed Transformers 2. Haha, i was e only one who recognized wad e movie was immediately =p. Hmm, but i guess i wld have liked it if they had continued showing Transformers 2 instead of e horror movie =p (lol i simply DUN watch horror movies... so sue me xD)
Well, e movie ended around 7 plus n e cinema manager or staff came in n apologized for e mix up n added in tt he hoped tt this incident will not deter us from going back there again lolx. Ah well at least they apologized =p. After e movie none of us were tt hungry yet (especially YC who ate alot alot @@) so we walked to e new shopping centre at Orchard called Orchard Central. We walked around n took some pictures (ok so i didn't appear in most but hey, I'm e photographer n i'm camera shy too ;D). Since it was rather new, there were stalls that had yet to be rented out n were empty so e pictures were taken at e shop entrances =p.

After that we walked over to Cineleisure there for dinner. But b4 tt we went for dinner we went to take neoprints haha. I'm kinda lazy to use e scanner in my dad's room so mayb ask jas to upload e pics =p. Anyways, we went home after dinner, around 10 plus or so. Was a really fun outing, pity tt more cldn't go. Hopefully for e next outing we can have more ppl coming. E more e merrier mah ;D.
